The University
of Texas Harris County Psychiatric Center serves those in
need of mental healthcare services. Many of our patients have
exhausted their health insurance, have no family support and
are in need of items and services not usually provided during
a hospital stay. One hundred percent of your tax deductible
donation of cash or goods goes directly to the patients here
at UTHCPC.
Donations
in the form of check or money order can be made in any amount
and mailed to:

Memorial
donations or Celebration (new baby, marriage, etc) donations
can also be mailed to the above address. Please include your
name as well as the name and address of the person recognized
so that we can acknowledge your gift.
Goods,
including used clothing (pants, tops, sweaters, coats, sox,
pajamas), grooming or personal hygiene items, books, magazines,
games, video games, movies (G and PG rated), and toys are
always welcome. Items for patient events, including decorations,
flowers and plants, gift wrap and food items (no home-made
items permitted due to health code restrictions) are also
welcome.
Goods
should be sent or delivered to the above address. We are open
24-hours for donations, and will supply a tax receipt if you
will leave your name and address.
