Article III. Membership
 
A.Elegibility of Membership
Any classified employee of UTHCPC or an employee of a Contract Service (non-management) is eligible to be a member of the ERC and shall remain a member for one year, based on annual elections. There is no limit to the number of years an employee can be elected to serve on the ERC.
 
B.Volunteer Membership
Any classified employee of UTHCPC or an employee of a Contract Service (non management) is eligible to be a volunteer member of the ERC and shall remain a volunteer member for one year. There is no limit to the amount of years an employee can be a volunteer member. Volunteer Members will receive invites to attend monthly meetings. Volunteer Members will be eligible to chair any ERC Event. A volunteer member will not be eligible to vote on Employee of the Quarter, Employee of the year or Manager of the Year.
 
C. Loss of Membership
If it is brought to the attention of the Chairperson that a member has been inactive over the course of at least two months without prior notice, the Chairperson (or an appointee) will contact the member to inquire of the member's continued interest before removing their name from the ERC Roster. (If a member is not at work or has a prior commitment on the day of a meeting it shall not count against them as not being present at a ERC meeting.)
