CLINICAL | ADMINISTRATIVE | UTILIZATION REVIEW | CAREER LADDER
NURSE PRACTITIONERS:
An advanced practice role provides care management for outpatient and partial hospital patients
Provide individual, group psychotherapy
   
PRECEPTOR NURSES:
Provide patient care
Precept new employees
Work closely with student nurses
Provide ongoing education for nursing staff members
Serves as a resource to staff for the provision of care to complex patients
   
STAFF NURSES :
Serve as a case manager, patient advocate, educator and clinician
Play a dynamic role in patient treatment and recovery as a key member of the multidisciplinary team
Specialize in knowledge of psychoactive medications/crisis stabilization
Provide careful thorough assessment of our patients
Assist treatment team with selection of appropriate discharge plans considering individual patient needs
Nurses interact with an array of health professionals, students, Harris County Probate courts, instructors, visitors, and family members
   
PSYCHIATRIC TECHNICIAN IV
Perform goals group, phlebotomy, EKGs, computer skills, and are linguistically competent in basic Spanish.
