Sunrise
Updates/Rollout
MIS Director Richard Montanye reports that MIS and Eclipsys
will be taking the Sunrise (Clinical) system down Saturday
evening at 11 P.M. till Sunday at 6 P.M. (June 5th and 6th)
for a system upgrade. All staff are asked to log off Sunrise
by that time. MIS staff will be visiting desktop computers
to upgrade the Sunrise application between now and Sunday.
Please revert to your paper/manual process during these times.
Everyone will be notified when the system is back up and operational.
If a computer cannot log onto Sunrise Monday, please call
the Helpdesk at 4999 so the issue can be resolved.

Bus Riders - Changes in Schedules/Routes
Effective Tuesday, June 1, METRO implemented service changes
for the following Park N Ride locations:

- Kuykendahl/N. Shepherd
- 292
- West Bellfort/Westwood-TMC
- 297
- South Point/Monroe-TMC
- 298
- Addicks/NWTC-TMC

the Park N Ride locations and changes.
Shuttle
Bus Changes
Effective Tuesday, June 2, and continuing through Monday,
August 2, the Health Science Center Auxiliary Enterprises
Shuttle will reduce service. Buses 3 and 4 will go out-of-service,
with Buses 1 and 2 operating a revised shuttle schedule. To
see the revised schedule for Buses 1 and 2, visit the Auxiliary
Enterprises Parking/Shuttle Service Web site at http://ae.uth.tmc.edu/parking/index.html
and click on the "Summer 2004Shuttle Schedule link. Direct
any questions or concerns to the Auxiliary Enterprises' Parking
Office at (713) 500-3405.

Insurance Changes - Sign Up in July
Significant changes to the UT health insurance program will
take place this September. Learn about these changes in the
Spring 2004 edition of the "News About Your Benefits" newsletter,
now available online at: http://www.utsystem.edu/egi/newsletter/may2004.htm
This newsletter will give you the information you will need
for the July 2004 Annual Enrollment period. All UT employees
can enroll in or make changes to their insurance coverage
between July 1 and July 31, 2004.

UTHCPC
Surpasses National Benchmark!
- Congratulations!!
UTHCPC staff are doing great compared to the national benchmark
of 1.81 errors per 100 patients served.
- For
January & March 2004, UTHCPC had less than 1 medication
error per 100 patients served
- Number
of medication errors reported in January 2004 were four,
zero in February and 2 in March 2004.
